Profits at industrial firms declined at a slower pace in April as production and sales rebounded amid the nationwide restoration of economic activities, the National Bureau of Statistics said on Wednesday.

The 2009 ferrosilicon contract price on ZCE closed at 5744 yuan per ton on May 29.

In Jan-Apr, 2020, China exported a total of 7400.275 tons of ferrosilicon (≤55%), a decrease of 38.12% year on year.

In Jan-Apr, 2020, Japan imported 133461.152 tons of ferrosilicon (>55%), a decrease of 13.01% year on year.

In April, China exported 10091.962 tons of ferrosilicon (>55) to Japan, accounting for 24.55% and 8156.48 tons to Korea, accounting for 19.84%.

The 2009 ferrosilicon contract price on ZCE closed at 5746 yuan per ton on May 28.

Japan ferrosilicon (≤55%) exports in Jan-Apr down 43.63%.
