Tungsten Ore

Tungsten ore may refer to Wolframite and Scheelite. It is said about 60% Scheelite is produced abroad. China owns 3.76million mt Scheelite, which is about 71% of total reserve in the whole world, but about 90% output is Wolframite due to poor exploring technology. Besides China, Canada and Unite States also have large amount of tungsten ore.

Wolframite is found in quartz veins and pegmatites associated with granitic intrusives. Associated minerals include cassiterite, scheelite, bismuth, quartz, pyrite, galena, sphalerite, and arsenopyrite
